I'm getting my baseline mammogram today. I admit I am a little nervous but I know this is important. I will be 38 on June 26th so this is my gift to myself.
I've done a little research and found that women should have a baseline scan between the ages of 35 to 40 and then have a regular mammogram every 1-2 years thereafter. Please encourage the women in your life to get checked. Early detection saves lives.
