Crochet Shell Beanie Hat

I had a few people ask if I had a pattern for beanies/hats for cancer patients. One of my favorite teachers has a video tutorial on how to crochet a shell beanie hat. It is fairly simple if you know how to create a double and single crochet stitch.

Also, please try to use a soft yarn. The softer the better. Many patients have tender heads and the more coarse yarns tend to irritate their skin and makes their head itch.

If you are not currently working with a local charity to donate your crochet items and would like to send them to me please send me an email and I will be sure they are distributed to the proper facilities. I am not an organization or a non-profit. I am simply someone who saw a need and is trying to help.
